Most asked questions

Does CBD-oil help against X, Y, Z diseases and disorders?

First and foremost, we would like to mention that according to EU and Swedish legislation, we cannot answer specific questions regarding diagnoses, prevention, treatment of diseases, etc. with the help of CBD products.

This is because the products we sell are not classified as drugs or supplements and must therefore not be sold as such. Swedish legislation as well as EU law provides that we must not make specific statements about the potential medical effects of the products, whether they are serious illnesses or minor maladies. However, we can refer to scientific medical studies that have been published, which do not refer to our products but cannabinoids in general and cannabidiol (CBD) in particular.

In short, what we sell is neither drugs nor supplements but only products with CBD. How you choose to use them is entirely up to you. We encourage everyone to seek additional information themselves before using CBD oil.

A good source of medical research is the US database PubMed (US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health), which collects all of the world’s published research available in English. The search must therefore be done in English, and you enter the keywords.

For example, if you are only looking for cannabidiol, it will be:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=cannabidiol

And if you look for cannabidiol and inflammation you look like this:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/term=cannabidiol+inflammation

And if you look for cannabdiol and cancer then you look like this:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=cannabidiol+cancer

You do not need to enter it in the internet address itself, but there is a search box where …

Is it better to take CBD as an oil or oral spray?

It’s a matter of taste. The oil is dropped under the tongue and swallowed immediately, and it takes 1-2 hours before it is absorbed into the small intestine. It suits those who regularly (morning and evening) want to take CBD. The oral spray is convenient to bring in to easily and quickly take a dose, and absorption occurs within 15 minutes if the saliva with the spray is allowed to remain in the mouth for a few minutes before swallowing, and absorption in the small intestine occurs within 1 hour.

Which concentration should I choose – 5%, 10%, 15% or 20%?

If you know that you are very sensitive, or if you intend to give CBD oil to children or animals, then the 5% CBD oil is recommended.
If you have never used a CBD product before, we recommend our 10% CBD oil or CBD mouth spray as your first choice.

The 15% products are recommended for those who have used CBD products before, but want something stronger so they don’t have to take much.

And the 20% products are aimed at those who know that they are quite insensitive and who already use CBD products, and who want to buy a CBD product with maximum strength.

Can I drive a car after taking CBD oil?

Yes! You can do everything you usually can. CBD has no narcotic effect and does not affect the assessment in any respect.

Does it work when there is no THC in the oil?

The answer, of course, depends on what effect you want to achieve, but if you search the web you will find lots of stories from people who have good experiences with consuming CBD products without THC. And there are plenty of scientific studies on just the effect of cannabidiol (CBD) and various medical effects (see PubMed above). We generally have more receptors in the body for CBD than for THC, so from that perspective, CBD is the most important cannabinoid. However, there are more receptors for THC in the brain and on nerve cells, so for everything that is related to the brain and its function as well as nerve cells in the body, theoretically THC is also needed for optimal effect.

Dosage – how many drops of oil / how many spray doses of the oral spray should I take?

Again, the answer depends on the effect you want to get out of the CBD product. We are all different and there can be a plethora of reasons for taking CBD oil. The best advice is to start with small doses and gradually increase the dose over a number of weeks to see which dose works for you. It is important to understand that it is not possible to overdose CBD with fatal results, but that it can be a waste sometimes to take too much. You get the best effect if you gradually increase the dose until you notice the effect, and then stop at this dose. And you can even try to reduce the dose. Dosage is therefore highly individual and does not depend on body weight, age or gender but must be tested individually.

How should I take the CBD oil / CBD mouth spray?

For the oil, you should preferably stand in front of the bathroom mirror to see how many drops you take. You then drop under your tongue and swallow immediately. There is no reason to keep the oil in your mouth, as absorption through the oral mucosa is poor. Uptake takes place in the small intestine, and it takes between 1 and 2 hours. If possible, you should take it between meals as the intake will be reduced if you take it with food and drink.

You can take the oral spray without having to stand in front of a mirror, and it is sprayed either under the tongue or on the inside of one cheek. For oral spray, it is important to keep it with saliva in the mouth for a few minutes before swallowing, since absorption is already done in the mouth via the mucous membranes there, and effect can be felt already within 15 minutes and within 1 hour. For this reason, you should not take more than one spray dose at a time, and wait at least 15 minutes for another spray dose. And you should avoid spraying in the same place in your mouth.

Can you give animals these CBD products?

All animals also have this endocannabinoid system that we humans have, so they are therefore susceptible to cannabidiol (CBD) in a similar way. However, animals should not be given anything containing alcohol, so the oral spray (CBD Oral Spray) should not be given to animals, but the recommended choice of product is the CBD Oil. And since animals cannot communicate and express what they feel as clearly as humans, why one must try to be more responsive to how their animal reacts. And we recommend our weakest product – the CBD Oil at 5% for animals.

How should I store my CBD product?

The bottles can be stored at room temperature, for example in the bathroom cabinet. However, opened bottles that should not be used should be stored in the refrigerator to increase durability.

What is the shelf life of the CBD products?

We distinguish between true durability and guaranteed durability. Unopened bottle has a guaranteed shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture (“batch date”), and opened bottle has a warranty period of 30 days. The actual durability depends on how the bottles have been stored, but is considerably longer than the warranty period for the bottles.
